That today we honor the indigenous people of this land, the oldest cultures that still continues in human history.

We reflect on their past.

We reflect in particular about the treatment that is not in accordance to the Lost Generation – the darkest in our country's history.

Now the time has come for this country to open a new chapter in the history of Australia by fixing the mistakes of the past so we can move forward into the future with full confidence.

We apologize for the laws and policies ever taken by the government which has resulted in the deep grief, suffering and harm to fellow citizens of Australia.

We apologize especially for the removal of Aboriginal children and Torres Strait Islander of his family, his community and his country. To the disappointment, suffering and pain heart Stolen Generation, his descendants and for the families left behind, we extend our apologies.

To the mother and father, brother and sister, to permisahan family and community, we extend our apologies.

And for the humiliation and degradation felt by the people against pride as a nation which is cultured, we extend our apologies.

We, the Australian government, with due respect begged the apology is accepted as part of healing the country.

For the future we believe that a new chapter in the history of the continent is great this can be written back.

We today take the first step in acknowledging the past and facing the future which includes all Australian citizens.

A future where we are all united, indigenous and non-indigenous, to close the level in the quality of life, level of education and economic opportunity.

A future where we will run the new solutions to overcome existing problems, where the approach that long has failed.

Future based on mutual respect, mutual unite the determination and mutual responsibility.

A future where all australians, with any background, are equal partners with equal opportunities and with equal rights in shaping the history in the country of Australia.
